ADDICTION TO LYING

WHO? ME?

Yes, and you. It embarrassingly comes to my attention in my self-observations that I am a liar. Nothing I hate worse than lying. My highest ideal is Truth, and its source. How can it be that I lie?

I could blame it on my Shadow. That’s like blaming the devil, or any other scapegoat. They are ME. I lie to myself about lying. It quickly becomes addictive, lying to yourself. Once addicted at any level, you begin to lose track of truth. You come to believe your own lies. Then, they become truth for you.
