An excellent article by a technically well informed writer. I have followed this strange patent since it’s inception. I think the only reasons for its approval were that it was associated with the US Navy, and it was too obtuse for patent office scientists to comfortably challenge.
I seriously doubt this technology has been proved operable.
First, the need for exotic materials has not been addressed. Associated with this question is a well founded suspicion that mental/psychic interaction between the equipment and its operator may well be involved, thus making the equipment much more than nuts and bolts.
This comment reflects how fast and far out our thinking on this strange subject can fly.
I have little doubt this subject is far more complex than the patent story indicates.
The most interesting aspect of this story for me is that it reflects serious government attention to the UFO/UAP issue and where it can lead us.
