AN UNFORTUNATE REALITY

TWO MODES OF THINKING

Can they live together?

I here present my view of distinguishing between the natures of the two basic modes of thought we see in our society, and their resulting consequences.

These two modes of thought and values seem irreconcilable, as if representing two different species of life sharing diminishing points in common, and ever increasing distance between the two, yet members of the same society, so far at least.

These modes of thought raise critical questions regarding any possibility of living together under one government, thus raising the distinct possibility of an irreconcilable, permanent separation resulting in people of different opinions from the majority in their state being required to relocate to states where their opinions are consistent with the majority of the state’s citizens as the states proceed to separate from the Union.

This may result in Red states succeeding from the Democratic Republic, as already voiced by “Republicans” in Texas, leading to the formation of a separate nation. This raises the possibility of armed Civil War, the outcome of which will be determined by the federal military, with itself experiencing the same differences within it’s ranks.

Will the military split and fight itself? If so, the nation will fall to foreign adversaries. How the Pentagon may act to resolve armed conflict within itself and our citizens is in doubt. If the military must act, the likely outcome will be a military coup and…
