CARING TOO MUCH — RESPONSIBILITY?

Response-ability, the ability to respond, do I have it or not? If not, I have no duty. Without duty, I may still prefer certain outcomes, but I observe only, and stress not over what they may be. As Krishna advised Arjuna, “Do your duty, and concern yourself not the outcome”. When we have done our duty, results unfold according to Nature’s intent. If we fail to do our duty, we interfere with Nature’s intent regarding the results of our actions. We have free will to decide.

“Preferring certain outcomes” is caring. Great angst over the failure of preferred results is harmful. Caring as if it is…
