Damn it, one MORE thing: you have inspired me to think more. I love it. It is not debatable that some alien encounters, perhaps most, show a clear propensity to mess with our minds, like not allowing direct memory of the entirety of the experience. This could be a good and protective thing to prevent too much initial shock, but I greatly, GREATLY dislike the idea of anyone or thing messing with my mind in any way.
