DREAMS, MYSTICISM, TRANSFORMATION, AND ONE CALLED MESSIAH — A VERY PERSONAL STORY

I’ve told only a few closest members of my family what I am about to tell you. This is my Spiritual Story.

Comments regarding “Messiah”: There were many called “Messiah”by the Hebrew nation, translated to “Christ” in Greek. Among the most notable was Cyrus, King of Persia. The Hebrew nation titled him Messiah because he set the Jewish Babylonian captives free, and most importantly, he aided greatly in the rebuilding of the Temple. He was not one of the “chosen people” of the Hebrew nation, yet he was a Messiah for them. Many of the more fundamental Jews would say, “Cyrus? He is not a member of the chosen people. He is going to hell”, yet he was readily called “Messiah”.

Question: what does Messiah mean? The word in Hebrew means “anointed by God for a particular purpose”. The Hebrew people recognized thirty-nine men titled “Messiah”. Most “Christians” know of only one titled “Messiah”, Jeshua Ben Joseph of Nazareth, in Greek, Jesus.

Christ, meaning Messiah, is not a name. Jesus is not “Mr. Christ”. It is a title. It does not refer to “Son of God”, much less “God”. When scripture speaks of “Christ said or did this”, try substituting “Messiah”, and see how much sense it makes.

By now, some institutionalized “Christians” reading this are ready to crucify me as a heretic, son of Satan, servant of the Anti-Christ, etc. In my personal experience, Jesus disagrees with that judgement, and reminds us of the scripture that admonishes us, “Judge not, lest you be…
