In this magnificent, mysterious Universe, all things are possible, far beyond our ability to imagine.

“Beyond our ability to imagine” — Carl Sagan. Considering this proposition, we are confronted by our own cognitive limits. I have before mentioned a book of many years ago titled, “Is Man Incomprehensible to Man?” The theme of this book, whether mentioned or not I don’t remember, was the “self referential paradox”, taking note of our intellectual limits.

Can we find a way to search beyond our perceived limitations? That is always a major question in our search, that is ongoing.

The first and most difficult requirement is to be willing to learn how to search out our unconscious minds. Jung is the guide. Get to know him. Seek to confront your shadow. This is the starting point. Learn to pay attention to your dreams. Pray and meditate regularly and with confidence. I suggest best to pray not for specific results, but for constant guidance in all our thinking and feeling and action.

I think most of us recognize we are limited in intelligence, some more, some less. This is clearly visible in our left brain functions, the natue of which I presume you have a good idea. The right brain, a separate but interactive brain with significantly different talents, is much more of an open book without a final chapter. Left brain allows us to function in this world. Right brain helps in this world, but opens the door to the entire Universe.
