Graham, in my not so humble estimation, you have devoted more time to David than his whines deserve, but I appreciate the need to “set the record straight”. Without looking for evidence of reincarnation during my first read of the New Testament, a couple of obvious references jumped out. Of course there is Jesus telling us John the Baptist was the “promised Elijah”, not “like” or “in the succession of”, but WAS. Then, in either Romans or Hebrews, regarding a list of saints who had died , it is said, “They could have found a way to return, if they chose”. Seems clear to me. Sorry I can’t be more specific now, but I’m close. I’m not looking back to my notes, which are at another house, but there are other references as well that I’m not thinking about now.
You know what you are talking about, and sincere as he may be, David does not.
