GRASPING THE GREAT MYSTERY

REACH AS FAR AS YOU CAN GRASP, BUT NOT BEYOND

I feel pretentious attempting to address our greatest opportunity and challenge. But, I must. What do I know? That I do not know, but I search. I suspicion many of us feel the same. As said many times, we are in this together, and together we shall find the answers that evade a single mind in its search. “Where two or more are gathered together…” — true.

Metaphor: hot coals; together they heat each other. Separate, they cool.

To come near the enlightenment we seek, we are aided to seek it together. We must remember the genius of the “hive mind”. This interaction does not cost us our individuality. It enhances it.

A great example of our joining into One is the wonderful movie of many years ago staring Joann Woodward, “The Three Faces of Eve”. This is the story of a split personality brought to healing with the help of a brilliant and concerned psychiatrist.

The joinder of effort in this true story is the joinder of Eve and her guide, her doctor, and the eventual joinder of Eve’s several personalities.

Dualism is not an acceptable proposition in this universe. Oneness is required, but Oneness leaves abundant room for individuality. As in the preservation of energy and information, scientifically and experientially we have discovered that nothing is ever lost.
