HIDE AND SEEK — THE REALITY GAME
Dreams have their own reality. They just are not as real as they seem. This life we consciously live has it’s own reality. It is just not as real as it seems.
Always, just beyond our grasp, lies a greater reality, of which our current reality is but a shadow. We know this because we occasionally glimpse the greater reality, as have many other witnesses of impeccable credentials.
The Hindu tradition refers to our conscious life as Maya, meaning “dream”. We seek to awaken to the greater reality. It hides from us.
Hide and Seek is a good game. It sharpens our wits and teaches us patience. It is frustrating, a bit dangerous, fun, and unending.
Our search is enticed by an occasional discovery of a small portion of that which we seek. We sense there is infinitely more waiting for us, just over the horizon.
Among our exciting discoveries thus far is the now confirmed fact that we all share abilities to gather valuable information infinitely beyond our wonderful set of five senses that guide and inform us for sake of survival in this everyday world.
We continue to search for ways to control these great information gathering talents. How can we call upon them when needed?
These abilities extend beyond the limitations of local time/space. It is startling to learn, and difficult to assimilate the fact that we live in the Eternal Now.
