Hitchhikers are a unique phenomenon designed to trouble us. They, like Tulpas, manifest in material form then de-manifest. They are not hallucinations. They are real. Unfortunately for us, there are no attractive female hitchhikers. Their Job is limited to a “scare the shit out of those trespassers.” They do their work well.
