I am a geophysicist addicted to the scientific process. As a lawyer, I have seen and come to appreciate the power of eye witness testimony, especially when corroborated by other credible witnesses. Finally, I have directly experienced the undeniable reality of mind outside the constraints of materialism. Respecting the scientific method as I do, scientific proof is not the final measure of truth. Cast in that role, science has been reduced to scientism. If we are to be intellectually honest, we must consider evidence outside, but not contrary to, scientific analysis.
