I have some difficulty empathizing with your frustration over the comments to your “FEELINGS” essay. The comments seem to me generally approving and objective, but as I think I know you I appreciate your intense drive to communicate, and perhaps seek a level of near perfection, although I know you realize “perfection” is generally not possible, or, from a different point of view, perhaps everything is perfect, for now. All I know is that I generally agree with and appreciate your explorations into our inadequate language. Oh, how many unnecessary apparent disagreements are due to Cool Hand Lukes “What we have hea’ is a failya’’ to communicate”.
