I often comment on writing skills, and just a little less often on thinking skills. We see on medium many interesting and well written essays regarding experiences which are informative and entertaining. Less often do we find what you present to us here, and that is clear exploration of complex subjects with deeply intellectual capability. I do not say this to ingratiate you but only to express my grateful appreciation for your carful avoidance of pontificating fixed, simple conclusions regarding this complex subject. Fortunately, your clear thinking is well presented with good writing ability.
Here, you invite us to consider implications of our responses to the alien phenomenon a step beyond our comfortable initial inclinations, questioning alien intentions regarding their ability to influence our emotional responses to their uninvited invasions of our private lives. They are not known for asking permission to engage us in any manner they alone chose.
Thank you for good thinking and inviting us to join you as we can.
I now follow you, looking forward to more cognitive clarity on this extremely important subject which I have closely engaged for 76 years.
