Regarding Dr Newport’s reference to Reich, he was on to a metaphysical great truth related to life force as in chi’, ki, prana, Holy Spirit. As students of Freud tend to do, he got hung up on Freud’s obsession with sex, and attempted to reduce life force to simply a more physical element. Life force transcends physical limitations. That the court committed the crime of destroying his work is despicable.
