LIFE, DEATH OF BODY, LIFE
TRANSITION, TRANSFORMATION — FOR CAL
Life is consistent through this transition, before and after, therefore transformation occurs. I am writing thoughts as they come to mind, prompted by the surprising death of my young nephew, Cal. He just turned sixty. I am twenty five years older, therefore he was young. On earth, Cal earned a PhD in psychology, and was a university professor held in high regard.
So unexpected it was. With the recent transition of my friend, Bill, his passing was fully expected. Somehow the surprise of an unexpected death seems a little harder to digest. So, I sit, I think, I write, not knowing where this will go, if anywhere.
Death of the body is common to us all, only a matter of when. Passing from a living body to the next level of existence without death of the body is a pretty rare event. I’ve read of it, but not sure I buy into it.
The mystery man, Melchizedek, out of the Old Testament Bible, is said to have had no parents, no birth as we know it, and no death. He was called “A priest forever”, whatever that means. We know about this because Jesus was once called, “A priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek”, whatever THAT means.
There is much speculation about this subject, as can be expected when dealing with this sort of mysterious man. I’m unsure how I got on this subject except for the fact I am thinking about eternal life beyond bodily death.
