Martin, I’m a native Texan. You nailed the state - bulls eye. I have attempted for over sixty years to reorient this insane bunch with my votes. Due to the great disabling flaw in our claim to Democracy, the Electoral College, my votes have been wasted, never counted.
I’ll never give up. Correct. The demographic is changing. Even Dallas can no longer be called “conservative”.
There is hope, but much damage has been done, and Trump signs still liter our rural countryside.
