MATERIALISM AND THE UNSEEN WORLD
Our sciences are built upon the material world in which we have chosen to incarnate. For the entire history of man and from around our world we have had those who have seen the unseeable, who have heard the wisdom spoken in silence, and have visited unseen worlds and returned to tell us of their experiences.
We sense, we know there is infinitely more than the material world. It is passing. No material thing lasts for ever. Yet, we have those who tell us of a spiritual reality that underlies materialism, and is the eternal essence of all. Many of us seek to experience the unseen realities.
Religions seek to show us the way to spiritual encounter. Religions splinter off each to their own, and most of them pronounce their way as THE way. Religions offer help to their followers, but due to their distinguishing factors they leave many outside, still searching.
“Spiritually” oriented seekersmay look outside the many different religions in a Pagan sort of way to find in surrounding nature an enlivening force of life and being which is eternal. Paganism is not atheism. It is a natural pantheistic awareness of the Devine in all things, all that is. It is all Devine.
Those who know that a Devine, eternal Source originated all that is, out of itself, know that we humans are created out of that Source and are therefore Devine, “children of God”, eternal in essence.
We know this in spite of our apparent “imperfections”. We human forms of life, Spirit inhabiting temporary material bodies…
