Never apologize for disagreeing. Let me clarify, I am not saying the Rechat structure is Atlantis. I am suggesting the the structure may be the inspiration for the myth. We cannot miss the mythological nature of the Atlantis story. Mythological hero’s abound in the story, Poseidon, his son Atlas, etc, etc. the story is inseparable from myth, unless you believe these “gods” actually existed. The people of Atlantis are described as having “god like qualities”. The entire story as told by Plato shouts MYTH.
