Not all inherited beliefs fail to resonate with our personal, true beliefs, but they must be tested with open minds. Not easy to objectively test an inherited belief, but can be done. We must not allow our testing of an inherited belief automatically turn into rejection of that belief. Keep an open mind. Our emotions tend to favor inherited belief. Testing is a tight rope.
