“NOW”, IN PERSPECTIVE

WISDOM FROM A DEAR FRIEND

Sitting here in the presence of my good friend and ex-wife, who is sick of hearing my far out talk, UFOs, paranormal, and all that sort of thing that no one in my family cares a flip hearing about, the subject of Heaven came up. Yes, too much talk by me on strange subjects is one reason she is now “ex”.

We quickly came to “time”, and the concept of “the Eternal now”. Of course I took off, talking about mystical traditions, NDEs, Einstein, etc., all things I typically avoid talking about with family. I now inflict all my excessive words on you good people, to whom my entire family shouts, “THANK YOU”.

As I so seriously elaborated, word upon word, on and on, watching her eyes glaze over, she in beautiful, sincere statement said,

“Gosh — it’s been “Now” for a long time!”
