OUR CREATIVE COMMUNITY

How it came to be that I find myself involved with Medium/ILLUMINATION I do not know, but how grateful I am to be here. I find my fellows to be an unusual gathering of intelligent, feeling, talented people, and I am increasingly amazed to be not just an observer, but also a participant.

It just struck me that “community” and “communication” share the same root.

This is a special group of people. We inspire the best in one another. We recognize the fact we are “special” in that we follow our calling, yet we seem, for the most part, to avoid ego pride in doing so.

Discovery of Truth seems always to lead to increased humility.

In any gathering we will find an occasional loopy. They do not seem to last long here. They get lonely for others of their same peculiar outlook. They don’t find company here.

Now I ask, how dare I accuse anyone of being a “loopy”? By doing so, do I call myself out? Mrs. Gump would advise, “Loopy is as Loopy does”. I guess I can leave it at that.

We are not a proud community of self perceived elites. We are just folks with a calling of common cause, blessed with an increasing sense of humility, as we learn more about ourselves.

There seems to be a spiritual vortex drawing us together toward the goal of remembering Truth.

We together are embarked upon an adventure of discovery. We are each and all both students and teachers.

We keep the candle burning.
