BRAIN DAMAGE AND HEALING

I have of late accused nearly half our citizens of being afflicted with prefrontal lobe brain damage. I have referenced the neurological study out of Great Britain to support that bold allegation. Once more, here it is:

This study searched out the neurological conditions associated with religious fundamentalism. It is obvious to me the same study applies to “political fundamentalism”, i.e., the new form of what participants call “conservatism”. This new form of “concertivism” is so far removed from traditional conservatism that I have labeled the followers as “pseudocons”.

Far from the original reactionary proclivity of conservatives to maintain the status quo in opposition to perceived “liberal radicals” who want change (the haves want to keep, the have nots want to get), the pseudocons are radicals who seek to change everything, from our constitution up through the structure of our Democratic Republic.

Many of them openly reject democracy. Doing so, if they are successful in their well organized, big plan to destroy democracy, they have failed to begin to comprehend what history shows clearly to be the consequences — fascistic autocracy, dictatorship, wherein all civil rights as we know them are erased, and the “rule of law” becomes an instrument of the dictator.
