My first task is not to remove this subject from academia, but to engage it experientially as well as academically. That is, to think about it and to experience it.

The more we know about it, the more accessible becomes the experience. We discover we have been experiencing this grand phenomenon forever, without recognizing it for what it is.

The word “quantum” is often thrown around by people who want to sound intellectual and up to date, but who have no clue what it means. But, as Dr. Richard Feynman said, “Anyone who claims to understand the quantum does not have a clue”. So true.

Is that not true for all our mysteries of life? We do not understand, but we nonetheless explore. Such is our assignment on this planet. We are searching for ourselves.

I do not claim to “understand” the Quantum. I do claim to know a little about it. We know the caution of “a little bit of knowledge”.

I propose as researchers of consciousness we recognize that the Big Bang origin of the Universe was a quantum event there by imbuing the entirety of the Universe with quantum nature. Every aspect of our universe, including us, is entangled with every other aspect of the Universe.

Entanglement refers to events that share instantaneous communication regardless of apparent spacial distancing. The speed of light is not relevant in regard to entangled events. For us, entanglement is psychic, not material…
