AND IT’S SEVERAL INTENTIONS TOWARD HUMANITY

A NOTE WITH GREAT RESPECT TO LEU ELIZONDO (see his book, “IMMINENT”).

I hold Leu in highest regard. He is honest, intelligent and brave, but I have one significant different point of view with him.

How dare a neophyte like me disagree with Leu ? Lets talk about that. Leu holds it against the “superior intelligence” behind The Phenomenon that they did not prevent our bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaka Japan with atomic weaponry. These same complaints can be multiplied many times, such as our allowing these weapons to be spread world wide.

In my complaint withLeu I refer to the brilliantly written TV movies “Star Trek” and their farsighted “Prime Directive”. In this fiction, we were the Aliens” visiting other civilizations. Our unavoidable position was to never interfere with the natural development of the other civilizations we encountered. We were clearly ordered to never attempt to impose our sense of right vs. wrong on others we encountered.

This seems to me to be the wise approach taken by our visiting “aliens” as they avoid interfering with our natural development. We also see them preparing to defend themselves if we show signs of taking our horrific weapons into space toward their homes. The Prime Directive does does not call for foolish acceptance of personal threat. Self defense is always on the table.

Since Leu is clear in his position, my assumption is he believes allowing our government to be concerned about a national defense issue in order to keep eyes focused on this superior technological presence is a wise approach. I do not fault this motivation, so long as it does not grow aggressive.

We know well how fear can cause stupidity. You can easily see how I am willing to give our visitors the benefit of a doubt so long as no harm is done.
