RECOGNITION OF IGNORANCE, FIRST STEP TOWARD ENLIGHTMENT.

My ignorance has felt burdensome. Now, knowing my ignorance, I am grateful to realize that is the one thing I know — that I do not know.

I have many operating hypotheses that substitute for perceived knowing. These are temporary presumptions necessary for daily functioning, readily relinquished upon discovery of more credible information. They alleviate the burden of unknowing.

Recognition of unknowing is like a breath of fresh mountain air. Without analysis, I know it is Truth. That is the best I con do.

Yet I endlessly search, looking for knowledge, and doubting what I think I have found. This is a great adventure. Every appearance of knowledge is placed in the ever growing file labeled Current Operating Hypothesis (COH), a currently accepted presumption of truth that is subject to change but is currently accepted as truth for now. It may change at any time.

This entire article is an example of COH.

Beware of the one who says with no doubt, “I know”.

True knowledge often comes independently but near simultaneously to more than one. Truth seems to come forth through the collective unconscious mind.

Absolute Truth cannot be owned or copywrited. It belongs equally to us all. Discocery does not necesarily bestow ownership. We search together as a team.
