Tomorrow Trump with one of his toddies, the Secretary of the Department of War, formally the Department of Defense, recently renamed by Trump, meets with his commanding generals and admirals from around the world. At first it looked only like only Pete Hegseth would attend. Now, as many expected, T Joins them. I had no doubt that was his plan.

In July, 1935, Hitler called a similar meeting with his commanding military officers to inform them their loyalty was now to him and not the constitution. We can expect this will be a repeat, and an opportunity for T to see who’s loyalty he questions. Those officers will be promptly dismissed.

This is another shameless display of his accelerating grasp for absolute power as dictator. Probably not for these next midterms, more likely for the national elections in 2028, we are sure to see him declare a national emergency and Martial Law, his final big step to dictatorship. He might even start a war as a cover for the “emergency”. Plan — stop the elections, stay in the Oval Office from now on.

This will be the fulfillment of his comment to the MAGAs at the last election that would be the last one they will have to worry with.

We see all this unfolding right in front of our eyes. And, here we sit, fearful of his personal police, the masked ICE men in unmarked cars snatching citizens from the streets and taking them to secret places, perhaps not to be seen again.
