SERIOUS CHANGE DOES NOT APPROACH — IT IS HERE

Here now, among all of us we can, we must, observe the challenges we all face. I speak not of a vague future of threat. I speak of our current circumstances.

This is not difficult to see, although it may be difficult to accept. We can start with what we have done to our federal government. Close to fifty percent of the adult citizens of this nation have chosen to place in charge of our Constitutionally based Democratic Republic an incompetent, narcissistic, self-obsessed, and some say mean, fool whose ambition is clear.

He seeks to become our dictator, and I suspicion he seeks to be our first emperor. Since our adult citizens have voluntarily voted him to be our “president”, we have demonstrated a frightening absence of intellectual competence, blinded to the obvious.

We have scene ourselves as good, reasonably intelligent people, many of whom seeking spiritual truth whether in a religion or not, a citizenry capable of leading the world to discover self government through the democratic process.

Now it appears we have lost sight of what democracy is, or should be. Our democracy has been flawed since the beginning. In our attempts to be fair to all we established the “Electoral College”. This concept strikes at the heart of a true, national democracy and has prevented majority rule.

We know this, but have failed to correct it. We are failing in our goal of leading the world to democratic government, and now we are capitulating to…
