The world has changed, or at least my view of it has. Is what I am seeing real, or just the remembrance of a nightmare?

It is shockingly real. My nation has dropped all pretense and revealed to the Universe its true nature.

What can save us now?

We can save us, but much is to be learned, and it will be difficult.

I write to myself to help process the remarkable revelation of who and what this nation is. It will take time to realize and accept the facts we have seen.

Yes, “accept” the truth, once it is clearly seen. To accept is not to approve. Is there any change I can make? Not in the truth of our nature in a significant manner, but I have changes to make within.

I am pleased I am not a player in the national game. I am a central player in my game.

Sometimes “truth” is a bitter pill to swallow, but necessary. What changes are required of me? I must learn to more fully accept my circumstances as being no accident, intended and necessary for me to discover my personal truth.

I don’t have a lot longer in this life, at age 87 with a body which is breaking down and showing signs of wrapping this life up. My challenge is to live out what I have with a nobility that hardly feels natural.

Facing truth is not easy. We often attempt to deny an uncomfortable truth, and to rewrite it according to our preference. Denial is not acceptable. Truth must be recognized and dealt…
