Thank you. I completely agree with this message. Our unconscious mind is awesomely creative. When looking for a devil to blame, it can easily summon up a false demon. The “possession”by a demon comes from inside, not out, and it can perform dramatic acts according to the “faith” placed in it. These events thrive on fear, and do their best to stimulate it. You ask, “If not a demon, what was it?” I interpret the Arch-angels as telling us it was a creation of the victims unconscious mind, aided by the fearful belief of those present attempting to exorcise the “demon”. Absolutely correct is the advice to love and sooth the victim, and remain fearless, absent all negative feelings. Once the unconscious mind learns its created phantoms are simply rejected, they will disappear, but much healing remains to be done.
