MEDIUM/ILLUMINATION

I sincerely mean this expression of gratitude. Those of you responsible for the administration of this organization have a pretty tough job to keep everything in balance, while always seeking ways to improve.

This site has become a surprisingly important part of my life. I express myself here as I do nowhere else, and some of you even listen. I even get the honor of some positive feedback.

It is more than ego that is the beneficiary. The occasional critical comment is perhaps of greater value than the positive comments, even though initially not as pleasant. I learn from you.

Of particular value here is the recognition that there are many, many intelligent, caring, seeking people in this nation, people of good heart and intent. I would never have met you apart from this site. Question: why are there so few of you in Washington?

Our daily “news” and social commentaries do not show us the positive side of our lives. Looking only at the surface of our lives, the materialistic web in which we find ourselves, can give a negatively distorted view of ourselves and our nation, even people in general.

We are better than that, and that better part of us is revealed on this site.

I know there are things I could do to expand my readership, but numbers are not the most important thing to me, and rather obviously, it is good I do not write here for income. I’d starve to death.
