Thank you for mentioning the speculative nature of this fine article. It is certainly food for thought. There are many speculative possibilities regarding “somber” information. The spreading of deadly diseases, whether intentional or accidental, seems worse to me than “somber”. I find it difficult to believe “Aliens” would purposely spread deadly disease among humans. They seem to have technology that, if applied to doing harm, could conceivably wipe us out, if that were their intention. Or, perhaps they consider we have necessary lessons to learn from the spread of deadly viruses.
For me, it is sufficiently “somber” to consider the presence of a technologically superior intelligence over which we have no control. They easily play boss, if they want.
As for covid, and other serious illnesses, I see no more reason to blame those on Aliens than to give Aliens credit for constructing the pyramids , or other great works some feel to be beyond human capability. We tend to underestimate ourselves. Too many mysteries are attributed to Aliens, in my opinion.
We have a couple of plausible ideas about the origin of Covid, and other catastrophic illnesses.
This is not to say the spread of new and deadly viruses cannot come from Alien contact. It is plausible, calling for care to be exercised, but the numbers of “abductions” do not seem to correlate with the development of diseases. It is not, I think, madness to consider the possibility. It seems there are perhaps many alien forms in addition to the abducting grays, from different locations, and perhaps with different agendas. We are rank amateurs in our speculations about possibilities.
This is perhaps the most important area for study presented to us. Hopefully we will exercise proper discipline in our studies.
Thank you for this thoughtful piece.
