Thank you for this. I am a sky watcher and look forward to this beautiful event.
Last night on the deck of my beach house on Aransas Bay, at Rockport, Texas, I was blessed to witness the most beautiful Unexplained Aerial Phenomenon I have seen in my long life. Yes, I seen over the last 76 years eight authentic UFO’s, many meteors, several fire balls, but never anything like last night’s event.
At about 7:30 PM I saw approaching in high horizontal flight out of the southwest three bright, apparently large meteors flying in formation, same speed, keeping same distance. That they flew horizontally and were visible for a full five seconds, without alteration of any sort, and each leaving a long fire trail behind was dramatic.
Best guess, an asteroid grazing our upper atmosphere and breaking into three equal parts. I am familiar with the several forms UFOs present, and they almost never leave a trail of apparent fire behind.
I’ve read that a buss-sized asteroid entered a “near earth” trajectory somewhere past South America last night. I’ve seen nothing about it presenting what I observed, but strongly suspicion that is what I saw.
Keep eyes on our sky’s. Best show in town.
