Thank you, my friend. I had my first experience with a vortex before I had heard the term. It was most notable. I felt spiraling energy and quickly realized that when I focused downward, the spiraling energy moved in counterclockwise direction. When I slowly moved my attention upward along the spiraling energy path, at one point near eye level the spiral of energy, without altering its direction of flow, was suddenly spiraling in a clockwise direction as I began to look up to it. Back down I focused and saw, as I came to look at it from above downward, the shift from clockwise to the downward counterclockwise direction.
Again, the spiral maintained an actual unchanging direction, but the flow direction shifted from counterclockwise to clockwise depending on my direction of observation.
This was a great learning experience for me.
Our perspective observation determines what we observe. Good to observe from as many perspectives as possible. Simple here; we look downward or upward, and there is 180 degrees shift in observed direction of flow.
For practice in keeping my perspective flexible, I mentally picture looking downward on an imaginary spiral, then up, and observe “the shift”.
Good observational exercise with a number of philosophical implications.
Of course, you can imagine a downward clockwise movement converting to an upward counterclockwise movement as you observe from below.
This is vortex/epicenter dancing to express their mutual energies first in apparent conflict morphing to perfect harmony an back again.
Philosophies? We write our own words of wisdom.
I should add my attention was drawn to this small patch of magic by an 8 inch diameter tree in its center with spiraling trunk. This is often associated with an underground stream.
When I became quiet and still for a few moments, without expectations I “felt” the flow.
I left with more energy and peace than I brought to that magical place.
What went with me was reciprocally replaced by what flowed through me.
