THE GREATEST MYSTERY
The greatest mystery for the mind of man is the mind of man. I once wrote, “It’s all in your mind”. To that I add “our mind”. In a deep and mysterious way we share the same mind, each version of it containing additional personal accessories.
This mind we share is the Mind of the Universe, the creative/destructive/recreatuve conscious order. This Mind is ineffible, is endless and incomprehensible. Seems a bit odd that our own minds are incomprehensible to our minds, but so it is. Sharing the Great Mind does not bestow omniscience to individuals. “One with” does not mean “equal to”.
Minds seem created to comprehend, yet when exploring the comprehender itself, we find only mystery. This is wonderful, never boring. Endless exploration of the explorer by the explorer.
Observers and participants are we. Wisdom teachings and intuition tell us we contain “a spark” of the Great Mind, “in the image of God”, i.e., in the essence of The Almighty. Again, one with but not equal to, but we are charged with a spark of creative power.
Therefore, we are co-creators and have the freedom to chose and to act, up to a point. It is that point for which we search in order to learn our limitations, that we may push against those limitations to constantly expand our consciousness. Consciousness is expandable, but always limited.
In our freedom to chose, we bear the Natural consequences of those choices, neither as reward or punishment, but just Natural Law.
