THE INBETWEEN THIRD WAY

IN SEARACH FOR UNITY

We largely view our lives somewhere between material and spiritual, identifying more with one than the other, usually falling into the dominance of the material. Dualism seems dominant. Reconciliation of the poles of life is difficult. This is our job.

The third way is the inbetween, the hybrid of being both material and spiritual. This is what we are. This is the message of the prophets and the experience of the enlightened, spirits having a material experience.

We walk a tightrope between the two poles, usually slipping off into the world of the material senses, losing awareness of the unseen, touched or heard spiritual side of our reality.

That which is not sensed seems unknown, unreal, yet our prophets tell us that the spiritual reality is the lasting foundation of reality, eternal in nature, and the material side, though necessary for a time, is temporary and will disappear, but for the lessons we learn in our material experience which become part of us.

The experience of being hybrid is rare, yet it is in that inbetween reality we are whole. It is the third way that calls us.

As we experience the material reality, most everything seems to break into the dualism of poles, this or that, light or dark, good or bad. Our duty is to look between to the place of magical wholeness.

As the winds stir between night and morning from dark to light, and when the light fades in the evening as day morphs…
