The largely misunderstood second law of thermodynamics applies to closed systems. Considering the implications of the Quantum and the extent of biological complexities, we must better identify "closed systems". Biological systems are not closed. They bring in new energy from out side nutrition, therefore the 2nd law does not apply. Quantum seems, in some way, headed toward opening all system, some of which matin an illusion of being closed, when at the far reaches they are not. They may go through this illusion for some distance, but, under the greater law of Unity, eventually disappears.
