THE NATURE OF TRUTH
TRUTH VS. THE PERCEPTION OF TRUTH
Any truth that depends upon perception is subject to a greater truth. For instance, an example of truth shaped by perception I’ve given before is that of spiraling energy, is it vortex spiraling counter-clockwise downward, or epicenter spiraling upward in clockwise rotation. It is both, depending upon the perspective of the observer.
At first we may think, come on, a fixed spiral can’t move both clockwise and counter-clockwise. Gotta’ be one or the other. Nope. It truly is both, depending on our view of it.
I find this a fun mental exercise. Look down as you hand rotates counter-clockwise. Follow the movement of your hand and raise it to eye level and and then look up on it as it rotates without changing direction. You will see at some point the clear, certain counter-clockwise direction has now, as you look up on it, become equally clearly clockwise.
You may repeat this exercise several times, then you can visualize it without using your hand. The observation of the point of change from counter-clockwise to clockwise as you view from above the motion to below it, I find to be a fascinating, almost mesmerizing shift. For me, it seems to help in my careful observation of other events. I like to think this exercise improves cognition.
This example of truth being dependent upon the perception of the observer, clockwise or counter-clockwise reveals a greater truth that is not dependent upon human perception. In deed, it is my understand that a…
