There seem to be “old souls” and “new souls”. I don’t pretend to understand any of this, except it is easy to see Ted is an old soul. It seems, based on some NDE reports that souls often are offered the opportunity to choose or reject reincarnation. True, incarnation is school, and we are often ordered to go back to school. True, old souls that choose to return for others are not drawn back by sensual pleasures. When in the “Ocean of Love”, pre-incarnation, I doubt there is any earthly pleasure that would draw us back to incarnation, while a sense of duty and opportunity to serve may well be the motivating factor in old soul reincarnation. I think you and I are seeing the same things, and speaking it in our own words.
