This is an excellent example of a fine, well educated scientific mind exploring the outer reaches of what we can call life. As a geophysicist, a very different kind of scientist than the author, this requires more than a cursory read by me. I must say, this article is as authentic a scientific presentation I have yet seem on Medium.
