I enjoy my destined ghost experience. I am observing Rip as closely and objectively as possible, which is not very objective. I carry a lot of ignorance and bias. Ah, such is the “life” of this ghost, an others, I suspicion. Ghosts, as you point out, enjoy chosen company!
