TO OPEN THE GREAT DOORS, SLOW TIME TO A STOP
We all stand before two great, locked doors. On the other side lies Home, and a wondrously informative adventure.
We need not wait for these body vehicles to wear out in order to visit the other side. When the bodies quit, we will move back home, leaving behind our convenient conceits of linear time, and comfortably entering real time which is no time — the eternal now.
The way our brain expresses our minds, the reality of eternal now is difficult to grasp, so to avoid confronting everything, everywhere, all “time” here and now, as it truly is, and digesting everything happening now, we create linear time and take slices of eternal now to perceive step by step (which implies passage of linear time because that is the way my mind works).
Truly grasping eternal now, and leaving behind our concept of linear time, for now, is not easily done. It takes practice, (which infers the passage of linear time).
We don't take steps one after another. We just shift our perception from the place of one step to the place of another. The other step, and all other steps, exist simultaneously with the “first step”. We just aren’t looking at it so our minds can make seeming sense out of where we are and what we are doing.
We are not going through existence “now” to another existence “later”, because all existence is in the one eternal Now where we are. There is no future or past. It is all here, “now”. Again, we simply chose where to look to find a…
