TRUTH IS NOT FOR SALE

Whether it be a well intentioned preacher, a believing fortune teller, a committed guru, a sooth sayer, or other whose profession is purported to be to “sell you the truth”, beware. Truth is for free to each of us, direct from the Source of Truth who dwells within each of us. We hear the voices of the wisest in the echos of history, and they all say the same thing. “I don’t want your money. I want your attention”.

The tithe is often pitched not so much as gift of love as an obligatory investment in hopes for greater return. “Give, and you will be blessed with greater return”. Mega churches preach the the idea that God wants you to be wealthy, and the more you give, the more you will receive — money, that is.

As God has no religion, The Divine has no use for or interest in money. It is not a Holy means of transaction in the Spiritual Realm.

What is love? Paul tells us. Love is giving without hope for return. Love gives to the beloved only for the benefit of the beloved, not in hopes for any payback. An authentic gift from the heart neither asks for nor expects anything in return.

The Source of Truth within? How does that work? Some want to sell you the formulaic answer to that question. They want to sell you their method of meditation, or yoga, or prayer, or preachings on Sunday morning. Beware the one who wants to sell you the key to the door of Truth within you.

It is true that the Source can use anyone, anytime to convey a needed truth. The greatest scammer, the most…
