Very good research and editing. You have done the young alcoholic, sexually switch hitting, personally dissatisfied, but brilliant military tactician a nice favor by bringing his story a little closer to earth, where it is sufficiently fantastic without elaboration. But, he was just a man, suffering the perceived flaws of a human, and ending the only way such an extraordinarily accomplished military man can, in young virtual self-destruction. People enjoy taking a real hero and attempting to force him into a superhero’s uniform which necessarily requires his Achilles Heal to be openly revealed.
