WAS THE FATIMA APPARITION THE VIRGIN MARY?

My principal thrust regarding the possible merger of two myths, Virgin Mary apparitions and the UFO/UAP Phenomenon, was in the presumption that, as the Catholic Church proclaims, “The Lady of Fatima”, who spoke three prophecies of Christian interest that seem to have come true, was the Virgin Mary.

As is always true regarding important revelations regarding mythical and religious context, there is controversy.

I remembered another interesting aspect of the Fatima apparition as I wrote the two previously published articles as mentioned above, that I did not include in those writings because upon a cursory search I had not yet uncovered the supporting evidence for my memory.

What I recalled as having read was that the Lady in the apparition wore a short, knee length skirt. None of the other apparitions attributed to Mary were so dressed. All were dressed in the modest long garments worn by women during Mary’s time on earth.

You will quickly see the bias of Mr. Theil, the author. He promptly opines that the apparition, “…certainly could not have been the Virgin Mary”, on the presumption that he knows beyond doubt the mind of the Divine, and she would never appear in a costume that would have sexual implications. After all, we all know eros is a weapon of Satan. Right? Wrong!
