WITHOUT ALIEN INTERVENTION

A hybrid is intended to be a ballanced combination of material form (human form) and non material form (alien in UFO context). The other context in which non material reality is introduced is found in the story of Jesus wherein God’s spirit is seen as an integral part of being human, that we are born both material and non material creatures. Jesus is the exemplar and communicator of this profound truth.

Jesus said he and “the Father” are one. Evangelicals claim that means he is God. Absurd. Paul in Philippians 4 says, speaking of Jesus, “He did not see equality with the Father as something to be grasped”. Jesus NEVER claimed to be “God”, but only “son of God”. He made clear that we too are God’s children.

He said, “I am one with my Father”, and he said, “You are one with me.” Simple syllogistic logic, if A = B and B= C, then A = C. If Jesus is “one with God”, and we are one with Jesus, then we are one with God. Looking in the mirror it is pretty easy to recognize “That guy is NOT God!” Also, it’s pretty easy to look at that lovely woman in the next room and say, “Neither is She!”

So, if “one with” does not mean “equal to”, what does it mean? I stood on Padre Island knee deep in Gulf water. I raised my hand from which a drop of Gulf water hung, glistening brilliantly in the sun. That drop of water was of the same substance, the same essence of the Gulf waters from which it came and to which it returned.
