WHERE ARE WE GOING?

Before we go anywhere we must recognize a common need. More than self acceptance is needed In order to do our part. Self esteem is required. If required, it must be justified. We must grasp it, NOW. Self esteem is not shallow pride.

I see people with impaired brains that distort their consciousness. In that condition, the impairment can’t be known by the experiencer.

Am I one of them?

It seems that about half the citizens of this nation have some sort of mental impairment. It causes them to seek and accept a false reality, as particularly seen in politics and religion. (Take a look at CPAC now in Dallas).

This is not a judgmental statement, but merely a statement of facts as I see them. Is mental illness contagious? Yes. Our environment of mental illness tends to spread it with people choosing to adopt a sick attitude in order to feel accepted, part of their society. The illness takes hold and grows on its own.

The consequences are dire. Logic and reason are thwarted. Feelings are distorted to dangerous levels. Society seems to be in a tailspin. What will, what can pull us out of it?

In our past, violence has served to protect and preserve us, violence against dangerous animals and dangerous people. We have come to rely on it to save us in threatening times. This is dangerous.
